Stories have always been my passion.
Even before I could write, I spent all my time imagining characters and storylines. My relationship with art began around the same time, when I discovered that I could transfer my imagination onto paper. I knew, even in primary school, that my dream was be a children’s author and illustrator.

Over the last few years I have exhibited, sold commissions, and been shortlisted for prestigious prizes such as the Young Archie and the Mosman Youth Art Prize, as well as placing first in the CYA illustration competition. In 2021, I graduated from a Bachelor of Visual Art and Design, with the Dean's Award for the most outstanding major work - a complete mock-up of an illustrated novel. This novel was released as Flight of the Drakkonbarq by Riveted Press in October 2025.

I have a deep love for books, children, and the power of the imagination. This manifests itself not only in my art and writing, but also in my work as a high school English and Visual Art teacher. My creative practices often centre around childhood and belonging. My writing, like my art, expresses an unconstrained delight in the beauty of the world, coupled with a sensitive awareness of human struggles and unfulfilled longings. I aim to produce beautiful books full of tenderness, curiosity, understanding, and imagination.

"My hope is that when you explore my work, you are able to experience some of my own sense of hope and wonder."
